About Us

Liquid Gold is a solo concept by chef, creative, and entrepreneur, Keyla Zoe DeHoyos. A Rhode Island native with Colombian and Puerto Rican roots, Chef Keyla takes great pride in the products under the Liquid Gold brand. Her ingredients and techniques combine to create products that reflect her upbringing and education.

Chef Keyla studied at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY and graduated in 2017 with a degree in Baking and Pastry Arts. She has since then worked all around Rhode Island, gaining skills and experience at various hospitality establishments in the state. 

​

In 2019, Chef Keyla was given the opportunity to work in the kitchen of a start up dispensary in Massachusetts called Nature's Remedy of MA, as a product manufacturing chef, creating edibles for the company. She entered the growing industry of cannabis and has since been working hard to create these same types of products with her own Latin twist. 


Her passion for excellence has driven Liquid Gold from the beginning and continues to drive the brand into the future. Liquid Gold was created to showcase the ever-changing variety of products and services Keyla creates and strives to make the entire experience as rewarding and fun as possible.
